Does a clear name search guarantee Companies House will accept my name?

No. The checker screens active register records for exact and legally equivalent names. Companies House applies its rules and makes the final decision when an application is considered. A company-name search is not a trademark clearance search.

Do I pay Companies House fees through this page?

The name checker is free. Your selected package application shows the service price and filing fee separately, followed by manual payment instructions. Payment proof is reviewed by our team; no company filing occurs automatically.
